Foolish Riot!

If you follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or get my newsletter…then you’re probably thinking, “Yes, you have a new book out. Enough already!” However, perhaps you don’t know that Trixie and Roll’s story has been a long time coming. A very long time. In fact, I started writing their story after I finished Inciting a Riot which means I’ve been working on it since May 2018. My intent was for it to be happening at the same time as Into the Riot...that did not come to pass, however.

Again, if you follow me on social media or get the newsletter, then you should already know it was supposed to be a short story. For so many reasons, that did not happen. Trixie and Roll are two complex people with a complex story to tell. I had thought it would be a novella, then certain people in my life said, “No way. They need an entire book.”

While writing their book, I injured my knee. Many people commented with, at least you didn’t hurt your arm or your hands. While it was true that I was still able to type and/or write long hand, it didn’t change the fact that my mental get-up and go also got-up and went with my mobility. Thank God I have an understanding editor, and I was able to extend my deadline. Thank God my creativity came back, even if in coming back it happened in drips and drabs. Bottom line, it came back! I’m proud of this book for many reasons, and I hope you enjoy it!

In the meantime, don’t take my word for it….a quote from a book blogger is listed below and all the buy links too!

★★★★★ “Holy cow was this a super great read!! From the secrets that were kept, to the drama, that naughty bits were on fire, danger, violence. This story was so far from boring, it grips you and kept me on the edge of my seat.” – MJ’s Book Blog and Reviews

** BLURB **
Patricka “Trixie” Baker grew up being used and abused. The night she met her “knight in a leather cut,” she dedicated herself to infiltrating his life. For ten years, all she’s wanted is to be Roll’s property more than anything. Anything. She’s a fixture in the Riot MC, but not part of the family. She never cared what anyone thought of her, but she refuses to be anyone’s fool. With determination to change, and Roll’s inability to commit, she won’t waste any more of her youth on him.

Homer “Roll” Rolland has two secrets; one he knows will hold Trixie back and limit her life. He’s wanted her in his bed since the first time he laid eyes on her, but holding her back is the last thing he wants to do to the woman he loves. When his other secret leads to Trixie being brutally attacked by a rival MC, Roll is forced to make a decision.

Trixie wants to be Roll’s property. Roll’s secrets hold him back from her. Will they find a way to stay together?
