Happy Thanksgiving!
Hands down this is my favorite holiday for many reasons. I’m grateful for so many blessings. While I have a moment before cooking the afternoon away, I thought I’d update you on things going on with the Riot MC and my writing.
Foolish Riot, the story of Trixie and Roll, came out at the end of September and I have had many readers ask if Har will get his own book. The answer is, yes, he will! So will Brute and Roman if I have anything to say about it. Har’s book will come out first, but I don’t have an ETA on that because I’ve yet to write it.
Speaking of writing, the month of November is National Novel Writing Month, which challenges writers to complete a novel during the month. The organization deems 50,000 words as being a novel. I completed my fifty thousand words, but Starting the Riot—Jackie & Volt’s story is actually a smidge over sixty thousand words. I would love to say this book will be released soon, but I have plans for this novella. That plan is more of a dream—and by a dream, I might even mean a pipe-dream—but dreams were meant to be chased. So, if the dream falls flat, I’ll release their story sometime in late spring.
Fear not though, I have a release coming at the end of December! Respectable Riot, Janie and Beast’s story, is with my editor. I should get it back next week, and the pre-order will be up later today or tomorrow at the latest.
For cyber Monday, I’m running a huge sale, but if you’re signed up for my newsletter (and if not, sign up here!) you’ll get more of that information on Monday!
You might recall my “Lofty Goals” post from last January. Sadly, I did not meet the million word goal I had for myself, but I’ve written well over three hundred thousand words this year, which is pretty impressive if I do say so myself. However, I had another goal for the year, which was to publish four books in 2019, and by the end of December, I will have met that goal. Hurrah!
I haven’t decided what my goals will be for 2020, but I’ll definitely update you on that next month since I intend to review what I’ve learned during 2019, which is quite a bit!
I hope you are counting your blessings this Thanksgiving, and you and yours have a safe and happy holiday!
